Lithuania-born, Ibiza-based artist Greta Levska has unveiled her debut album, IBZALIEN on Get Physical Music.

Lithuania-born, Ibiza-based artist Greta Levska has unveiled her debut album, IBZALIEN on Get Physical Music.

The 10-track album has already received support from the likes of Solomun, Sarah Story, Damian Lazarus, Adriatique, and Renato Cohen, and follows on from a series of singles that span various styles of house and techno.

IBZALIEN reflects both Levska’s experience of life in Ibiza and her broader influences within the electronic music landscape – the track San An Space Jam, for example, is a reference to resort town San Antonio, while BASS does exactly what it says on the tin.

As a press release puts it, Levska’s long-player is an ‘incredible feat for a debut album, taking the best sounds from history of electronic music, deconstructing it, and making it into something even more wonderful.’

As well as Get Physical, Levska has released on labels such as PokerFlat, Shall Not Fade, Unknown To The Unknown, and her Ibiza schedule has recently taken in Destino, Club Chinois alongside John Digweed and Franky Wah, Pikes, and her Amnesia Presents residency, which saw her appear on the legendary Ibiza club’s Terrace for two seasons running.

Off the island, she’s had a run of shows across Europe, for the likes of Brunch Electronik, Input and Nitsa.
