Bedrock Records to mark 25 years of events with XOYO London party

Bedrock Records is marking 25 years since the launch of its monthly event series at Heaven, in London, with a daytime party at XOYO London on 1 October.

The event, which runs from 3pm to 10pm (tickets here), also coincides with Bedrock co-founder John Digweed’s 1,000th Transitions Radio show, and the event will be recorded for a future broadcast on the show.

“For this year’s Bedrock anniversary I wanted to do something completely different and throw a Sunday day into night party.” Digweed explained.

“Bedrock has held several events at XOYO in London and the venue is perfect with the basement for the full on clubbing experience and an upstairs area to socialise while still being part of the party. I am so proud of the loyal fans that have supported the night over so many years and share my vision of it all being about quality forward thinking music and positive vibes.”

Over the years, Bedrock events have taken place at fabric, Brixton Academy, Matter, Ministry of Sound, E1, Fire, Electric Brixton, Warehouse Project and many more – not to mention international festivals such as ADE, BPM Mexico, Miami Music Week, and Exchange LA.

Next week, Digweed, alongside studio partner Nick Muir, will release the latest EP on the label, alongside DJ and producer Franky Wah. The two-track EP, which features the tracks Tripchain and Scanalatura, will be released on 8 September.
