French touch maestros Cassius are set to release a greatest hits compilation, Cassius – Best Of 1996-2019, which is set to land on LOVESUPREME/Justice on 11 October.
The 20-track album will be released on vinyl and digital platforms, and charts the duo’s journey from Dinapoly – their first track, released in October 1996 – through to singles Cassius 1999, I <3 U SO, Toop Toop and Don’t Let Me Be, released in 2019 on the album Dreems.
Cassius was founded by producers Philippe ‘Zdar’ Cerboneschi and Hubert ‘Boombass’ Blanc-Francard. Following Zdar’s death in 2019, Boombass put the Cassius name on hold. The upcoming release, Best Of 1996-2019, will be the first under the Cassius name since Zdar’s passing.
Boombass recently performed solo as Cassius for the first time at the Paralympics closing ceremony in Paris. He also recently penned a short story on the origins of Cassius, which can be read here.
Cassius – Best Of 1996-2019 will be released 11th October via LOVESUPREME/Justice, and can be pre-ordered here.
