Carl Cox and Bushwacka! team up on new single
Carl Cox has announced a collaboration with Bushwacka! on the track Music Is Life featuring Chuck Roberts, which is set to be released on Oblong Records later this month.
Release on 28 July, the EP features three tracks, a Main Mix, featuring house music vocalist Chuck Roberts, a more stripped-back Deep Mix, and a Radio Edit.
Commenting on the new single, Cox said, “It’s such a great vibe and there is nothing that sounds like it right now. It’s paving the way forward.”
Elsewhere, Bushwacka!, aka Matthew Benjamin, added that every time the track gets played, “the dance floor goes bonkers – it’s really special, and busting with energy.”
Both Cox and Benjamin need no introduction, having been pivotal figures in the dance scene since the early days of acid house and electronic music.
Bushwacka! & Carl Cox feat. Chuck Roberts – Music Is Life is released on Oblong Records on 28 July.
