Planetary Assault Systems to revisit 1993 techno classic ‘In From The Night’
Planetary Assault Systems, aka techno producer Luke Slater, is revisiting his 1993 techno track In From The Night, with a new edits and remix package.
In From The Night was originally released on the Planetary Funk Vol 1 EP on Peacefrog, and has been considered an underground classic ever since.
Due to be released on 18 November on Slater’s own Mote-Evolver label, In From The Night (Reworks and Edits) features two new edits (P.A.S. Edit and P.A.S. Live Edit), as well as an interpretation from Drumcode’s Adam Beyer and Brazilian DJ/producer Webbha.
Slater’s Planetary Assault Systems incarnation continues to tour the world with a live show, headlining events at venues such as Ageha Tokyo, Fuji Rock, Fabric London and Berghain in Berlin.
The Mote Evolver label was launched in 2006, and recent releases include Slater’s own Rip The Cut (Remixes) EP, The Lady Machine’s Magnify EP, and Sterac’s Numbers EP.
In From The Night (Reworks and Edits) drops 18th November on Mote-Evolver.
