Dutch DJ and producer Chris Stussy has announced his first release under his new moniker, CHRIS STASSY, with the single U know me set to land on 28 August.
The Up The Stuss founder announced his new identity on 19 August, with both his label and USS events series retaining their original title.
“New name, same me,” he commented. “The music, the energy, the connection with the people in the room – none of that changes.
“Over the past 16 years, this has grown into so much more than a name. It’s the shows, the music, and most importantly, the community that has grown around it. That’s what I’m most grateful for, and that’s all still here. The first track under my new name says it all: U know me.”
The release of the track, which features Marz Fay, will follow on from a series of free parties under his N.A.M.E. concept, in Birmingham (22 August) and Amsterdam (27 August).
The Dutch artist has also announced a series of performances under the new name, including his debut at Pukkelpop and appearances at Circoloco, Music On and Metamorfosi in Ibiza. Other dates include Audio Obscura Festival, ARC Festival, Deep Tropics and Club Space.
In addition, on Friday 11 September, he’s set to play District X Festival 2026 at Palmerstown House Estate, Co. Kildare.
“Thank ‘U’ for everything, ‘A’ new chapter in my life,” he added.
