Ritmo London co-founder Becker has marked his return to Frame Music with the release of the three-track Intergalactic EP, a cross-pollination of bass, tech, broken beats and minimal.
Having previously released on labels such as WYS, Serialism and Horizont Audio, the German-born, London-based artist’s productions have garnered high profile support despite their understated club sensibility.
The EP kicks off with the title track, bringing together ‘rubbery kicks, driving bass and warped cosmic synths’ as a press release put it, before moving into more minimal territory with the track Lose Control. The closing track, Hello Tunisia, shifts towards broken beats, incorporating fragmented vocal snippets and echoing percussion.
