Tinlicker kicks off European tour following release of fourth album

Tinlicker have commenced their European tour, kicking off at Astra in Berlin on 3 March, and taking in Warsaw, Paris, Cologne, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam over the coming days.

The tour then moves on to Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol, and London, followed by dates in Copenhagen, Oslo and Stockholm towards the end of the month, as well as an appearance in Brussels in June and several confirmed festival dates.

The tour follows on from the release of the group’s fourth studio album at the end of February, entitled Dreams of the Machine.

The 14-track album, the group’s first full-length project as a three-piece, explores the growing presence of technology in our daily lives.

“[The album] looks at technology and where it’s taking humans,” Tinlicker said of the new album. “It’s a metaphor for computers or AI having human dreams and emotions – the machine wanting to be human, while people behave more like robots. There’s a shift happening. I hope the music helps people wake up to our humanity: that computers can’t do what we do.”

Dreams of the Machine includes four previously released singles – Release, Reborn, I Want My Freedom and God In You – as well as ten new tracks.
