fabric Originals, the flagship label operated by London nightclub fabric, has unveiled the fifth edition of its Selects compilation series, featuring artists such as Sweely, Anna Wall, Cinthie and Enzo Siragusa.
Released on 4 October, and featuring 15 tracks, the compilation features a digital exclusive in the form of Sweely’s track Dance Wid Me, which is described as ‘quintessential peak-time weapon that encapsulates the energy of a packed fabric dancefloor at 4 am’.
The release follows on from a vinyl sampler that landed in August, which featured a selection of tracks from the new Selects compilation, and sold out almost immediately.
According to a press release to accompany the launch, each of the artists featured bring their ‘unique sound to the table, showcasing the diversity and depth that has come to define the fabric Originals imprint. From Sweely’s intricate minimalism to Anna Wall’s deep and soulful house, Cinthie’s uplifting grooves, Enzo Siragusa’s raw energy, and Traumer’s refined production, the compilation is a sonic journey that captures the essence of contemporary electronic music’.
Elsewhere, fabric recently announced the publication of a new book to mark its 25th anniversary, part of a series of celebrations taking place this year.
