Portugal’s Sound Waves festival has announced details of its Winter Edition, which will take place at the Carlos Lopes Pavilion in Lisbon on 8 February.
The festival has also confirmed that its Summer Edition will return in July 2025, as the Sound Waves brand marks its 20th anniversary next year.
The two events will once again ‘demonstrate the promoters’ DNA and commitment to presenting the best and latest on the global techno and hard techno scene in Portugal’, according to a press release. Tickets for the Winter Edition are now on sale, and can be purchased here.
The most recent edition of Sound Waves, which took place in Esmoriz, Portugal on 6 July, featured artists including I Hate Models, Sara Landry, Shlømo, Deborah de Luca, Azyr, 6EJOU, Dyen, Franck, Joanna Coelho, Miss Sheila, VENDEX, Ornella, as well as B2B performances from Stëh and Madson Carpenter, as well as PK and LEMØS.
The 17th edition of the summer festival ran for 20 hours, non-stop, and this year featured an expanded, renovated space, as well as immersive visual effects created by Nima Visuals Studio.
