Laurent Garnier‘s COD3 QR imprint is set to release a new eight-track compilation, ‘FRxUK’, which sees French producers go head-to-head with UK artists.
French artists to feature on the compilation include Alex Finkin, Rocco Rodamaal, DCLVIII OFC, Paul Roux and Sebastian Russell, who contribute four tracks between them, while representing the UK are Jay Robinson, Works Of Intent, La4zza and Saytek, who similarly contribute four tracks.
The digital-only release is due to land on 13 September.
Paris-based producer Alex Finkin teams up with house innovator Rocco Rodamaal on the track 6ème Songe, while Jay Robinson brings They Just Talkin’, a blend of house, techno, and bass. DCLVIII OFC’s offering is the melodic techno track Carrousel, while Paul Roux contributes Deep Space Jam.
Among the UK artists, DAYTIMERS’ Works Of Intent delivers Archive Our Past, while La4zza debuts with The Five Eight. Saytek contributes Back To Where (Live), reflecting his longstanding live performance expertise. Finally, Sebastian Russell closes the release with the experimental track, Fog.
Last year, Laurent Garner said that he was stepping back somewhat from his busy touring schedule.
