Beyond The Pale, which takes place at Glendalough Estate, Wicklow, from 21 to 23 June, has announced a series of activities as part of its ‘Acushla’ wellbeing area, including reggae yoga, matcha ceremonies, a massage yurt, soundbaths and stargazing.
Acushla is positioned as an ‘oasis for reconnection and restoration’, and encompasses several areas, The Space Between, Tigh n’ Alluis and the Bosca Beatha sauna.
“Join us in the forest glades for all the very best bits of The Space Between and a little extra magic besides as we open up, shake it off and go Beyond once again,” commented Acushla programme directors Dave and Máirín.
“Move, groove and land into yourself with yoga, movement, meditation, breathwork. Let yourself be soothed and restored in the waves of our Soundbaths, from electronic to ancient. Lie back, balm out and go astral in our guided tours of the galaxy.”
This year’s festival offers meditative vibes with Conor Creighton, Kid’s Yoga with Silvia Poppmeier, and the opportunity to explore an astral landscape with BiBi Dallmann. The festival also offers Tea & Tarot with Lucy Bloom, a Matcha Market, ambient sessions in Breathscapes with Brian Malone, and Reeta Cherie’s Reggae Yoga.
“Come get what you need in our forest Tea Shop with mushroom elixirs, electrolyte fixers, trip-tonics & more to attune the soul and system from morning to night,” Dave and Máirín added.
Along with the soothing vibes, Beyond The Pale’s extensive festival catalogue includes Jungle, Jessie Ware, Orbital, Marc Rebillet, Romy, Richie Hawtin, Alvvays, Courtney Barnett, Thievery Corporation, Obongjayar, The Scratch, Gilla Band, John Francis Flynn, DJ David Holmes, Rachael Lavelle, Ailbhe Reddy, 49th & Main, Elaine Mai & Maykay, The Redneck Manifesto, as well as a comprehensive arts programme.
