A Guy Called Gerald to headline ANALOG RHYTHMS weekender

Acid house legend A Guy Called Gerald will be the very special guest DJ at the forthcoming ANALOG RHYTHMS weekender, taking place at The Racket Space, The Bernard Shaw, Dublin, from 14-16 July.

The Manchester native, whose seminal track Voodoo Ray helped soundtrack the acid house era, will perform on Saturday 15 July at the event, which is hosted by 909originals and Bodytonic.

Having first taken place last year (check out the video below), ANALOG RHYTHMS – A Celebration of Dublin Club Culture is a weekend long exhibition and series of events, celebrating the formative years of clubbing in Dublin, from the rave dens of Sides and The Asylum, via the stylish dancefloors of The Pod and The Kitchen, through to the ‘big room energy’ of the Temple Theatre and RedBox.

Through photos, flyers, videos and tales from the dancefloor, Analog Rhythms will showcase what was a period of massive change for the Dublin nightlife, the reverberations of which are still being felt today.

More additions to the lineup will be revealed over the coming days – keep an eye on 909originals.com for updates.
