Dam Swindle marks ten years of Heist Recordings with retrospective EP series

Dam Swindle are marking ten years of their Heist Recordings imprint with a series of EPs set to drop over the course of 2023.

The first in the series, Heist Classics Vol. 01, is released on 21 April and features tracks from Dam Swindle, Scan 7, Fouk, Demuir, and Adryiano.

Check out 909originals’ recent interview with Dam Swindle, aka Dutch duo Lars Dales and Maarten Smeets, here.

“We’ve had the chance to share so much amazing music over the past 10 years, and now felt like the perfect opportunity to do a series of retrospective releases where we look at the biggest hits, best remixes and hidden gems,” the duo said.

“With two limited edition releases on vinyl and digital and two big digital-only bundles, we’re revisiting some of the best tracks we’ve released on Heist. It all starts with vol. 1 of our Heist Classics, which includes the one track that started everything – our own track, The Break Up – and a nice mix of label mainstays and unexpected appearances.”

The vinyl release of Heist Classics Vol. 01 is limited to 1,000 copies, and features special artwork from art director Bas Koopmans (Wellness).

It’s released on 21 April and can be pre-ordered here.
