Are you dancing? The new video for Busy P’s ‘Track Of Time’ tests dancers’ stamina

While we haven’t been able to come together on the dancefloor for some time now, by the time we do, it’s going to be hard to leave… 🙂

We guess that’s the thinking behind the new music video for Busy P‘s Track Of Time, which brought together like minded party animals for a 24-hour dance marathon.

Filmed this Spring and directed by Baptiste Penetticobra, the video sees clips of local Parisian teens dancing to the track for a full day (and night) – with, understandably, few left standing at the end.

The track, which also features emerging artist Haich Ber Na and Shay Lia, Kaytranada’s protégé, is the Ed Banger boss’ first release since 2017 (Genie, featuring Mayer Hawthorne), and will feature on a forthcoming EP, which is due to land in August and includes a Masters At Work remix.

“Like Rakim used to say, ‘it’s been a long time!’,” Busy P, aka Pedro Winter, commented. “Four long years since I released ‘Genie’. So many things happened, and of course the last few months probably accelerated the need to enjoy some studio time.

“The first thing to come out of the basement is ‘Track of Time’; a way to express this feeling of being lost in time, in space… but most importantly it’s a summer song, thinking ahead, dreaming of dancing in clubs again.”

That’s a sentiment we can agree with, although 24 hours non-stop dancing might be a little too much for us… 🙂
