Spain’s Astral Plane adds Chez Damier, MARRØN and more to festival lineup

Astral Plane: Total Eclipse Festival, taking place in Segovia, Spain, this August, has announced four new acts to its festival lineup – Chez Damier, MARRØN, Matt Sassari and LAIA – and revealed its day-by-day breakdown.

Located at La Pinilla Mountain Resorts in the Sierra Ayllón Mountain Range, the festival, which runs from 10 to 12 August, has been designed to coincide with the first total solar eclipse to cross Europe this century.

August 12 will see the moment of totality – at 20:31 local time – soundtracked by a four-hour set from techno titan Kevin Saunderson, while earlier in the evening, Mano Le Tough will perform a set during the partial eclipse period.

Other confirmed acts include Ellen Allien, DJ Stingray 313, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, Lilly Palmer, Gerd Janson and Nicole Moudaber, among others – check out the day-by-day lineup below.

The festival site is located at an altitude of approximately 1,500 metres and has capacity for up to 10,000 attendees, with music taking place across three stages, the main Eclipse Stage, the Mountaintop Stage, on a plateau overlooking Sierra Ayllón, and the Starship Stage, for the festival’s up-and-coming acts.

Astral Plane has been conceived as a ‘roaming’ festival, with subsequent editions set to follow the 2027 eclipse crossing Southern Spain, North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula, followed by 2028’s eclipse over Australia.

Ticket options include three-day passes and single-day access, while for every ticket sold, the festival will plant a tree in La Pinilla or its surrounding nature reserves. More information can be found here.
