Swiss DJ and producer Deetron is the latest artist to be featured in Defected Records popular House Masters series, with a new compilation that spans three decades of his work across techno and house.
Encompassing 34 tracks in total, the digital edition of House Masters: Deetron also features two previously unreleased tracks, Filter (House Mix) and Save. A separate 2LP vinyl version features eight selected tracks from the compilation.
Deetron, aka Sam Geiser, first became known for his highly-technical DJ skills before establishing himself as a producer and remixer. In 2014 he launched his own label, Character, while he has also featured on a myriad of other imprints during his career.
As well as highlighting his own productions, the release also highlights Deetron’s work as a remixer, with reinterpretations of tracks by Jamiroquai, Moby, Todd Terje and Honey Dijon.
