Irish electronic duo Obskür have announced that their latest EP, Another Life, lands on Max Dean’s label, neXup recz, on 28 February.
The EP features two tracks – Another Life, which seeks the pair ‘channel their signature racy grooves into a peak-time weapon’, and Can You Dig It, which ‘moves into deeper territory, built around a weighty, rolling groove’.
Since bursting onto the scene a few years back, Obskür have established a loyal following for their signature blend of rave, techno, and garage, which earned them a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix last year, as well as appearances at clubs and festivals around the globe.
Having already released on labels such as Eastenderz, Disorder and Defected, their latest output on neXup recz follows a successful year for the imprint, during which the label achieved multiple chart successes and ranked as Beatport’s sixth highest-selling Minimal/Deep Tech label.
Obskür were also recently announced as part of the lineup for the District X festival, talking place at Palmerstown House on 20 September – more details on that can be found below.
