Hailing from Bury St. Edmunds, England, Consequential‘s sound was fused in a ‘muddy field in front of a stack, head in a bass bin, stomping for days’.

The artist’s new single, Down, released on 21 February, brims with pent-up energy and is the heaviest tune Consequential has made for some time. “It felt good to release some tension and groove,” as they put it.

The track was inspired by “watching the birds collecting to build their nests”, with the artist adding, “my other half started watching Strictly Come Dancing, I started making music again. Not sure which is worse”.

The track has already garnered some support from UK DJs, ahead of the forthcoming festival season.

How would they sum up the release in two words? “Let’s go!” Seems quite apt. 🙂
