20/20 Vision mark 30th anniversary with ‘Full Circle’ releases and events

Ralph Lawson and Carl Finlow‘s 20/20 Vision is marking its 30th anniversary this year, with the label, which was started in a farmhouse in Leeds three decades ago, now boasting close to 500 releases and 2,000 tracks in its repertoire.

To mark the occasion, 20/20 Vision has announced a series of releases under the title Full Circle, with Volume 1, set for release on 17 February, featuring classic tracks by Christian Löffler, Tuccillo, Art of Tones and the first ever release on the label, Wulf n Bear – Space Groover.

As well as the new release, 20/20 Vision have announced a series of Full Circle events taking place over the course of this year, several of which have already been confirmed. Upcoming tour dates include performances at HIFI Leeds on March 1, Artlab Buenos Aires on April 11, Mysticus Lima on April 18, Love Inn Bristol on April 25, Stage & Radio Manchester on May 31, and Gottwood Festival on June 13.

As a press release to accompany the announcement put it, ’20/20 Vision was chosen as the label name for its meaning of ‘perfect vision’ being applied to music at a time when the house music scene was becoming divided into ever smaller categories. Anti-genre has been at the heart of the label, always bringing an array of eclectic flows, styles and sounds with an artist focused approach.’
