Techno imprint Drumcode has released its 13th A Sides compilation, featuring 18 tracks, including a contribution from label head Adam Beyer.
Kicking off with Beyer’s Life Is, described as a ‘glorious attack of chattering beat, seemingly random spacey, industrial hoover sounds and stabs, with processed vocals for the title riff and melody’, the compilation also features WOMB Tokyo residents Drunken Kong, with the track Dance All Night, MOOD label boss Nicole Moudaber, who contributes the track It’s Just A Dream, and the return of Dense & Pika to Drumcode, with Deep Down Low.
Other tracks on the compilation include Marco Faraone’s Neva Sell, Neva Go; Popof teaming up with Marie Vaunt on Acid Cult; Dok & Martin’s Inside Your Mind; Charles D’s Yantee; Timmo’s Enter The Sound; and Balthazar & JackRock’s Neo Echo.
Additional highlights come from PETER PAHN with Let The Beat Control Your Body, Matt Guy with Dreams, and Pleasurekraft’s At Home in the Universe. VE/RA contributes the track Can’t Get Enough, BLR, Matt Sassari & Truetone collaborate on Submerge, and Pablo Say delivers What’s That. Kaiserdisco’s Escape and Zimmz & LAAT’s atmospheric Ethereal round out the compilation.
Drumcode’s A Sides Vol.13 is available from 6 December. More information can be found here.
