Sasha makes debut on Crosstown Rebels with Pale Blue remixes

Sasha has made his debut on Damian Lazarus’ Crosstown Rebels imprint for the first time, with two remixes of Pale Blue’s The Last Song.

The track is taken from Pale Blue’s recently long player, Maria, which was released earlier this year.

Pale Blue is a collaboration between Mike Simonetti (Italians Do It Better) and Elizabeth Wight (Silver Hands), and the album project has already been accompanied by a series of remixes, from the likes of Fort Romeau, DJ Tennis, Perel, Kölsch and Rebolledo.

Commenting on the remix EP, which includes both a Sasha Remix and a Sasha Instrumental Remix, Sasha commented, “Buzzing [to] be remixing for Crosstown Rebels. I loved the Pale Blue album when it dropped earlier this year. That spiritual, introspective sound drew me in, and ‘The Last Song’ reminded me a little of the Julee Cruise music from the 90s that graced many an ambient room mix.

“I have tried to keep the rawness of the original song but also channel some of that 90s hedonistic energy into this mix.”

Pale Blue – The Last Song (Sasha Remixes) lands on Crosstown Rebels on 15 December 2023. You can pre-order it here.
