Primavera Sound 2023 announces new additions to lineup

Primavera Sound has announced two new additions for its Barcelona and Madrid festivals this year.
Two weeks after announcing New Order as part of the lineup, the festival organisers have confirmed that Alison Goldfrapp and Sevdaliza will also be performing at both sites.
Goldfrapp, who headed up the eponymous duo for over 20 years, is set to present her first solo album at the festival. Iranian-Dutch artist Sevdaliza, meanwhile, is a rising star in the world of music, who has made a name for herself with her updated trip-hop and R&B sound.
Elsewhere, ANYMA and FKA twigs will not be able to perform at the Barcelona and Madrid editions due to changes in their respective plans.

There are also changes to the Primavera a la Ciutat framework. Palm has canceled its two concerts, but Yves Tumor and Japanese Breakfast, already a part of the main program, will add new shows in city centre venues.
With over 150 names in the lineup, including Depeche Mode, Blur, Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Pet Shop Boys, St. Vincent, Calvin Harris and Le Tigre, amongst many others, Primavera Sound 2023 will showcase both legacy artists and the best of contemporary sounds.
