Damian Lazarus marks 20 years of Crosstown Rebels with world tour

Damian Lazarus is marking the 20th anniversary of his Crosstown Rebels label this year with a world tour, taking in venues in Bali, Tokyo, Ibiza, Dubai, Istanbul, Rome, Paris, London, and Berlin, as well as Miami.
The CR20 tour will see Lazarus joined by an array of artists including Seth Troxler, Dennis Cruz, Mathew Jonson, Made By Pete and more.
“Twenty years ago I dreamed a dream of creating a family of like minded, crazy individuals from all corners of the planet – releasing music to the world and making people dance,” Lazarus explained. “That dream was Crosstown Rebels and this year we are 20.
“Over these years I have forged beautiful friendships, discovered very talented artists and tried my best to help, advise and support some of the most colourful characters in dance music. Crosstown Rebels is more than a record label, it is family.”
It all kicks off with an opening party at Get Lost Miami on 25 March, featuring Carl Craig, Major Lazer, DJ Holographic, A-Trak, DJ Harvey and LP Giobbi and others, over a 24-hour period, on April 16, Damian Lazarus and Carla Durisch will be performing at Savaya in Bali.
On April 22, Damian Lazarus, Bill Patrick, and Seth Troxler will be at Zero Tokyo in Tokyo. Moving on to April 30, Damian Lazarus and special guests will be performing at Akasha in Ibiza. On May 5, Damian Lazarus will be joined by Carla Durisch and Oceanvs Orientalis at Iris in Dubai. On May 6, Damian Lazarus and Dennis Cruz will be performing at Klein Phonix in Istanbul. Then, on May 14, Damian Lazarus, AMÉMÉ, Bartolomeo, Cristina Lazic, Oceanvs Orientalis, Pale Blue, and Tibi Dabo will be at Sanctuary in Rome.
Next up is May 17, where Damian Lazarus, AMÉMÉ, and Salome Lé Chat will be performing at Bridge in Paris. On May 19, Damian Lazarus, Clive Henry, Dennis Cruz, Made By Pete, Mathew Jonson, Subb-an, Tibi Dabo, Yulia Niko, and some special guests will be at Fabric in London. Finally, on May 20, Damian Lazarus, Bartolomeo, Pale Blue, Tibi Dabo, Yulia Niko, Mathew Jonson, Carla Durisch, Kiki & Silversurfer will be performing at Watergate in Berlin.
“This is an opportunity for the Crosstown Rebels family, a global community of artists, DJs and creatives, and the label’s myriad of followers to celebrate this momentous milestone,” said Lazarus.
“With support from our friends at @volcantequila, there will be parties and events around the world. There’s a killer compilation of exclusives and special remixes in the works. There’s also a beautiful coffee table book, a short film, and a special launch event planned to bring together the sights and sounds of the label’s unique and influential history.”
