The 10 best drum ‘n’ bass tracks of all time… according to ChatGPT

A while ago we decided to put ChatGPT to the test, asking it to try to identify the ‘top ten techno tracks of all time’ – the (somewhat controversial) results can be found here.

Now, the AI-powered chatbot is put to the test once again, as we ask ChatGPT another simple question: What are the 10 best drum ‘n’ bass tracks of all time?

‘As an AI language model, I cannot have personal preferences,’ ChatGPT told us, ‘but I can provide you with a list of 10 classic drum ‘n’ bass tracks that have stood the test of time and are considered some of the best in the genre.’

The list is as follows:

1 – Goldie – Inner City Life
2 – Roni Size/Reprazent – Brown Paper Bag
3 – LTJ Bukem – Horizons
4 – Shy FX – Original Nuttah (feat. UK Apache)
5 – Ed Rush & Optical – Wormhole
6 – DJ Marky & XRS – LK (feat. Stamina MC)
7 – Bad Company UK – The Nine
8 – Calibre – Drop It Down
9 – High Contrast – Racing Green
10 – Noisia & The Upbeats – Dead Limit

An interesting combination of classics (YES to Original Nuttah!) and more modern cuts, in other words – sure, we’re fans of Noisia & The Upbeats’ Dead Limit and Bad Company’s The Nine, but do they deserve ‘best of all time status’?

No doubt that this will spark plenty of debate about d’n’b heads, just like our previous techno post – but don’t take offence, ChatGPT is just a robot… for now at least.
