Get Physical to mark two decades with 20-track compilation
Get Physical Music has announced the forthcoming release of 20 x Get Physical, a twenty-track compilation curated and mixed by Roland Leesker, to mark the label’s 20th anniversary.
The compilation features new takes on classic cuts such as M.A.N.D.Y. vs Booka Shade – Body Language, Roland Clark – I Get Deep, Samim – Heater, Groove Armada – Rescue Me and more, and is set to be released on 9 December.
Over the years, Get Physical has helped foster the careers of a variety of artists, including BLOND:ISH, Yulia Niko and Monkey Safari, as well as featuring legends such as DJ Pierre, George Morel and Roland Clark. In addition, a number of dedicated album series have brought to life the best of the Croatian, African, Indian and South American scene.
20 x Get Physical will be released as a collection of individual tracks, as well as a continuous DJ mix, and showcases what the German label has always been about – forward-thinking electronic music.
The album cover art features an updated version of the Olivia Newton John-inspired original Get Physical logo image, prepared by Brazilian artist Paula Illhes.
