The Orb, Francesca Lombardo, Davide Squillace, Doorly and others set for ‘Life Stream’ to highlight importance of the world’s forests

A number of artists including The Orb, Francesca Lombardo, Davide Squillace, Doorly, Renato Ratier, Soul Clap and PillowTalk are set to appear during a 16-hour livestream this Sunday to commemorate the International Day of Forests.

Established by the United Nations in 2012, the International Day Of Forests celebrates and raises awareness of the importance of all types of forests, and the importance of reforestation in terms of tackling climate change.

DJ and producer Francesca Lombardo has highlighted this issue through her ‘Life of Releaf‘ project, and on 21 March, she, along with a number of like-minded artists are hosting a ‘Life Stream’ to help raise awareness and encourage the public to donate money to plant trees. You can donate to Life of Releaf by clicking here.

All money donated will go towards One Tree Planted, an organisation dedicated to planting trees.

“It’s time for us to learn how to take care of Mother Nature,” Lombardo said in a statement. “Trees are one of our strongest weapons in the fight against climate change, which is why I encourage everyone to support reforestation.”

Life Of Releaf & Francesca Lombardo present: Life Stream kicks off at 15.00 London time on Sunday 21 March, aka the International Day Of Forests.
