French electronic duo Justice have been unveiled as composers of the original dynamic score for Grand Theft Auto VI, one of the year’s most eagerly anticipated video games.
The announcement by Rockstar Games comes alongside the release of a new Justice single, Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker, SZA and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, which was used in the launch trailer for the game.
Flower in a Hurricane is also set to appear on Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, the game’s official soundtrack, which is available to pre-save on music streaming platforms, and pre-order on vinyl and CD.
The Paris-based duo, comprising Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay, emerged almost two decades ago through Ed Banger Records. Their early releases included Waters of Nazareth, followed by their debut album and the global hit D.A.N.C.E..
Their work on Grand Theft Auto VI follows on from their 2024 album Hyperdrama, as well as a recent appearance at Coachella and US arena tour. Justice also recently won a Grammy for Best Electronic Recording for Neverender, a collaboration with Tame Impala.
