Detroit-based label Infolines has announced details of its latest compilation EP, The Leland, which is set to land on 8 September, and features Echoføn, ADMN, Dev-Lish and Rex Sepulveda.
The release opens with the track Liedernacht from Echoføn, the Detroit duo of Chad Parraghi and Corbin Davis, who also co-founded Blank Code. Their mix of techno, drum & bass, and complex polyrhythms has already picked up support from the likes of Polygonia and Kangding Ray – expect dubby drums and unsettling atmospherics.
Next, Infolines founder ADMN (Alexander Drazin) teams up with Dev-Lish (Ian Desmond), co-owner of Detek Music, on the track Physical Education.
Detroit producer Rex Sepulveda, a founding member of D Records and contributor to the likes of Development, Plus 8 and Flumo, serves up the first track on the flip side, Hanzatud, while the EP closes with ADMN’s solo cut Carrier Sense, which is described as a ‘fantastic tension builder with a muscular presence and futuristic outlook’.
The Leland will be released digitally and on vinyl via Infolines Music on 8 September. Artwork for the release was designed by Ashely Worden, who has been an “integral part of the label since day one,” according to ADMN. Check out the Infolines back catalogue here.
