CV FREQS have announced details of a forthcoming event at IKLECTIK, London, on 3 May, following on from the collective’s recent appearance at SynthFest France and ahead of SUPERBOOTH26 in Berlin from 7 to 9 May.

Founded in 2013, CV FREQS – ‘where the modular underground plugs in’ – began as a small initiative focused on modular synthesis and has since developed into a community-driven hub for eurorack heads, hardware tinkerers, and curious listeners.

The project focuses on shared participation and experimentation, with events typically involving performances, meet-ups, and listening sessions that centre on both the technology and the individuals using it.

The London event, supported by Expert Sleepers and Knobula, is positioned as a meeting point for members of the European modular community, with Knobula’s creator Jason Mayo set to perform live.

In the lead-up to the event, Eden Grey will appear in an online session hosted by Ned Rush on YouTube and the CV FREQS blog on 22 April.

It will be followed by an afterparty for the opening day of SUPERBOOTH26 in Berlin, set to take place at MaHalla Underworld, which will feature performances from Kodek from Erica Synths, Tangie from Joranalogue, ERD of Shakmat, Colloid of Ginkosynthese, and Maman Küsters from Touellskouarn. The Berlin event is supported by Beat.de, Erica Synths, Joranalogue and PWM.

Last year, CV FREQS expanded into recorded releases with a debut cassette compilation on GOTO Records, spotlighting modular artists from within the community. The release also marked CV FREQS’ arrival as a sublabel of EC Underground, laying the groundwork for a catalogue of carefully curated, hardware‑rooted electronics.

CV FREQS is led by Chelsea Bruno (aka Eden Grey), alongside Robert Chu of London Modular Synthesis and Florence Meuleman (aka moiCflo), co‑owner of EC Underground. Additional members include Alex O’Brien and Fergus O’Connor, who are both deeply embedded in London’s modular ecosystem.

At its heart, CV FREQS is about community; it’s a space to trade knowledge, share patches, and get lost in voltage – somewhere anyone obsessed with eurorack and electronic sound can feel at home. More information can be found here.
