Sacha Robotti is set to release his debut album, I, Robotti in early 2026

Los Angeles-based producer and Slothacid label head Sacha Robotti is set to release his debut album, I, Robotti in early 2026, which has been described as a ‘kaleidoscopic journey through tech house, breakbeat, indie dance, peak-time techno, jackin house, and everything in between’.

Having released on labels such as Shaboom Records, Noir Music, Snatch!, DirtyBird, Solotoko, and Suara, among others, and played at the likes of Coachella, EDC, and Burning Man, Berlin-bred Robotti is also one-half of Third Culture, alongside Sian of Octopus Recordings.

Recent singles include All Night with Sian & JOPLYN, The Flood with Blakkat, and Say It, with Victoria Rawlins, while his most recent release is Manifest, alongside SYREETA, Mikey V., and Blakkat, which was released on 5 December on Dirtybird. Check it out here

For this week’s #MyRecordBag, Sacha Robotti presents his “favourite electronic tracks I played in the 90s”. Over to you, Sacha!

Orbital – Chime

“Classic rave jam from the UK that even made it on to Top Of The Pops!

DJ Rush – Crobar

“I witnessed DJ Rush drop this in Belgium and I lost my mind!”

Thomas Bangalter – What To Do

“Besides Stardust and Club Soda, this is one of my favourite tracks from the Roulé catalogue.”

Dave Clarke – Wisdom To The Wise

“Electronic classic that elevated Dave Clarke to super techno notoriety and turned me into a life long fan!”

DJ Funk – Pump It

“In my opinion, one of DJ Funk’s best tracks, which worked great in sets mixing electro/techno/ghetto house.”

JB3 – Forklift (Luke Slater Filtered Mix)

“Absolute belter by two magnetic figures of the electronic music scene in the 90s, Joey Beltram and Luke Slater, on Novamute.”

Green Velvet – Never Satisfied

“Beautiful simple beat with unmistakable Green Velvet vocals.”

Robert Armani – Circus Bells

“Epic Robert Armani track that we played up and down and round and round.”

Jeff Mills – Untitled” (B2, Very EP)

“Out of all the Jeff Mills records I collected back in the day, this one stuck with me because of the intro, the insane groove, the weird break in the middle, and the dark vibe overall.”

Dopplereffekt – Pornoactress

“Honourable electro mention for the mythical Dopplereffekt who have released seemingly post apocalyptic robot jams across the years!”

Thanks to Sacha for his selections. Check out his recent single, Manifest, here
