Aiwaska has unveiled a new seven-track mini-album, Flora Fauna, which sees the enigmatic producer combine elements of house, indie dance, and melodic house.

Flora Fauna, which is released on 6 June, continues the producer’s longstanding focus on music that connects with nature and spirituality.

Lead track Love To Hate, which incorporates ‘rolling basslines, crisp percussion and moody synths’, features vocals from Aquarius Heaven, while other collaborations on the album include Prana Flow, Megane Mercury, JAW, and Thomas Gandey.

Known for his signature mask, a gift from Peruvian shamans, Aiwaska’s previous releases have been featured on labels such as Crosstown Rebels, Exploited, Bar 25 Music, Get Physical, and Hot Haus, with his latest EP coming out on his own Aiwaska Planet imprint.

In addition to his own productions, Aiwaska has worked with artists including Egyptian Lover, Roland Clark, and Robert Owens, and remixed tracks by Patrice Bäumel, Eelke Kleijn, Kino Todo, and Tensnake. His music has been supported by DJs such as Solomun, ARTBAT, Adam Port, and Black Coffee.

He has performed at festivals and events such as Burning Man, Alfa Future People, and Odyssey, as well as hosting shows on radio platforms like Ibiza Global, Sonica, and Insomniac.

Aiwaska runs the Plant label and event series, which combines music releases with environmental initiatives – each release is linked to animal-themed artwork, and a portion of proceeds from events supports conservation projects.

With the release of Flora Fauna, he is also launching the Aiwaska Planet Project, a new initiative that integrates NFTs, live shows, and environmental fundraising.

Aiwaska – Flora Fauna is released on 6 June. More information can be found here.
