Acid Pauli and Nico Stojan, who collectively run the Ouïe label, have announced a collaborative new EP, Vola, which is set to be released on 22 January.
The EP features two tracks, opening with the melodic Vola, which ‘features a spongy rhythm, accompanying samples seemingly drawn from far and wide, creating a lush and meditative feeling’, according to a press release.
The second track, Tensione, builds from the same sound palette, incorporating modular arpeggiators and warm pad sounds.
Over the years, the pair have developed a long-established signature sound of intimate and psychedelic electronic music for the more leftfield-leaning music aficionado.
