Milanese producer Matisa has unveiled a new single, 1234 Bisous, on Seth Troxler’s Slacker 85 imprint.
The new single, described as a ‘deep, rolling house cut with sultry vocals and shimmering acid’, is the first single from Matisa’s forthcoming mini-album, In My Head, which is set to be released at the end of January.

“This track captures the bittersweet end of a significant love story as a new one begins,” Matisa says of the new single. “It’s not your typical love-at-first-sight scenario. It took a solid five minutes for that spark to ignite and that undeniable feeling to hit.”
The forthcoming album draws heavily on the time Matisa spent in the US, where she was inspired by the record stores, cultural history and street performances she encountered in cities such as Detroit, Chicago, and New York.
Matisa, who has a background in fashion, has developed a reputation for upfont house music with a nod to 90s rave culture, and has performed at venues such as Berghain/Panorama Bar, fabric, and Circoloco, as well as putting out releases on labels such as Gudu and Butter Sessions.
Matisa shared some information about the origins of the track on her Instagram page, see below for details.
