Armand Van Helden and A-Trak have marked the return of their Duck Sauce project with a two-track release, Can’t Stop/Boogie In Your Butt.
The new release, which has just landed on London label D4 D4NCE, follows on from their previous releases on the label, including LALALA, released in 2023, and Clap Your Feet featuring Fuzzy Cufflinxxx.
Best known for their 2010 crossover single Barbara Streisand, Duck Sauce draw on their house music and funk origins for the new single, while both have been busy in recent months – in April, A-Trak appeared in DJ Mag’s How I DJ series, and Armand Van Helden was named as a headliner for Radio 1’s Dance Weekend Ibiza 2024.
Can’t Stop is described as an ‘explosive club-ready offering of NYC vocal house that builds in alarming intensity, complete with sirens and breakdowns built for the dancefloor’, while Boogie In Your Butt features ‘an addictive bassline and absurd vocal sample marrying perfectly with the out-there production elements’, according to a press release.
