MonoSource’s ‘In A Dublin Pisser’ laments the changing face of the Irish capital

Audiovisual live act MonoSource lament the changing face of Dublin on a striking new single, In A Dublin Pisser, which features Glasgow-based poet Kevin P. Gilday.

Released on their own Made Magnetic imprint, based in Kilkenny, the single sees Gilday reminiscing as he “relieves himself of a €6 Heineken”, as an electronic rhythm slowly builds in the background before hitting its acid-drenched peak.

MonoSource is a new hardware-focused live act from producers Peter Lawlor (Polytunnel, Moot Tapes) and Leo Pearson.

According to a press release for the release, ‘Having collaborated on various projects over the years, MonoSource is a conscious step away from the computer and embracing the chance, experimentation, and improvisation that can be found in electronic music performance.’

In A Dublin Pisser was released on 17 June, backed by a ‘Rave Mix’. You can purchase it here.
