Primavera Sound announces lineups for 2023 Barcelona and Madrid festivals
Depeche Mode, Kendrick Lamar, Blur, Calvin Harris and Le Tigre are among the artists set to take to the stage at Primavera Sound 2023, taking place across two weekends in Barcelona and Madrid.
The Barcelona edition takes place from 1 to 3 June 2023 at Parc del Fòrum, with the Madrid event taking place at Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey from 8 to 10 June.
In addition, the preceding day of both festivals will see a special appearance by Pet Shop Boys, at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum (31 May) and the Cívitas Metropolitano in Madrid (7 June), which are free to the general public.

The theme of Primavera Sound 2023 is ‘I’ll be your mirror’, reflecting the ‘two festivals in one’ concept in two cities renowned for their culture and party spirit.
In total, each city will see some 200 performances in each city, including the midweek Primavera a la Ciutat programme and two epic closing parties featuring Ben Böhmer, Camelphat, Diplo, Vitalic, Purple Disco Machine and others.
Other notable electronic artists featuring over the two weekend include Four Tet, Sparks, Charlotte de Witte, Skrillex, VTSS b2b LSDXOXO and many more.
As the official press release puts it, Primavera Sound 2023 will feature ‘Punk and k-pop, reggaeton and metal, techno and salsa will coexist in an event to celebrate music in all its forms in the hands of big names, long-awaited comebacks, brand new revelations and living legends.’
Tickets for Primavera Sound go on sales at 12pm CET (11am UK and Ireland time) on 12 December via the DICE platform – full festival tickets are priced at €325 (+ booking fee), day-tickets will be €125 (+ booking fee) and double full festival tickets (Primavera Sound Barcelona and Primavera Sound Madrid) will be €520.
