Riva Starr and Mark Broom team up to release new ‘Star B’ EP
Techno and house legends Mark Broom and Riva Starr have teamed up once again under their Star B moniker to release a new EP, Love Will Remain, on Rekids. You can pre-order it here.
The Star B project, which has already seen releases such as Fire and Gotta Have You on Snatch! Records, sees the duo craft disco and funk-infused house and techno with expressive vocals and heavyweight production.
It’s the first time they have released together on Rekids, although both have worked with the label individually in the past.
As they explained, “We’re both long-term admirers of the label’s musical journey and love what Rekids represents, so adding Star B to the long list of artists they’ve released is a great honour and achievement.”
We’re big fans of both Mark Broom and Riva Starr here at 909originals, two producers that always give 100% – as Broom told 909originals recently, “Yes my work ethic hasn’t changed after all these years, and you’ll often find me in the studio five days a week perfecting my craft.”
With that in mind, we’re expecting big things from the Star B collaboration in the future.
