The Secret DJ unveils new book, ‘Tales From The Booth’
Having shone a spotlight on ‘the world behind the decks’ in two best-selling books, The Secret DJ (pictured) has returned with a new title, Tales From The Booth, which features a series of never-before-told stories from dozens of DJs around the world.
Published by Velocity Press, Tales From The Booth promises ‘strange encounters on tour to side-splitting debauchery and afterparty excess’, and features 80 real-life tales that shed some real light on the life of a superstar DJ.
“This is a book of stories from many DJs, of all stripes and persuasions, from all over the world,” The Secret DJ explained. “The voices here are truly diverse. Large and small, short or wide, every creed, angle and colour of the rainbow is within. This book is one of the most collective efforts we’ve done so far.”

The book project was started during the lockdown of 2020, when The Secret DJ reached out to DJs, artists and music journalists.
