Techno legends Slam and Rebekah team up on third ‘Louder Than Chaos’ EP

Slam have teamed up with longterm Soma affiliate Rebekah on the third instalment of their Louder Than Chaos series, which features two high-octane techno tracks.

The double A-side, which is released this Friday 26 November on Bandcamp and other platforms – it’s already available via streaming and on the Soma shop – features two tracks, the EBM-influenced Believe In The Night and Erratic Movements, a straight-up techno track.

909originals recently had the chance to chat to Slam about the Louder Than Chaos project, a series of collaborative EPs borne out of lockdown, which kicked off with a tie-up with 999999999, Hector Oaks and Keith Tucker (AKA Optic Nerve) and has also seen a release alongside Perc.

“It was quite a natural process, as that’s what we do with our productions anyway,” Slam’s Stuart McMillan told us. “It didn’t seem strange for us. We’re not always in the studio together – sometimes we’ll get together and do live shows, but we are always bouncing ideas back and forth. We’re used to doing that.”

You can read the full interview here. Future Louder Than Chaos releases are to come with Amelie Lens and AnD.
