Forget the queue… Ostgut Ton is running three days of livestreams direct from Berlin’s Berghain

Berlin imprint Ostgut Ton is kicking off the first of three nightly livestream events from Berghain’s main Halle room this evening, with Luke Slater, Speedy J and Terence Fixmer among those set to appear.

Commencing at 6pm (7pm CET), the event has been organised in associated with Arte TV (along with RBB and Icons), and marks the 16th birthday of the legendary record label.

In total, between now and Friday, Arte TV will broadcast 19 hours of back-to-back DJ sets and live sets from 38 of Ostgut Ton’s core artists.

Among those set to appear on Thursday (29 July), again commencing at 6pm, are Ben Klock, Marcel Dettman, DJ Stingray and Norman Nodge, while Steffi, Avalon Emerson, Answer Code Request and Gerd Janson will appear on Friday.

The broadcasts will feature both on Arte TV and on the Arte TV YouTube channel, and should provide some recompense for those of us that have been turned away from the iconic venue in the past (sometimes on numerous occasions!), or whose knowledge of the venue comes solely from Minecraft. 😉
