There are just days to go until Upclose returns to Spaarnwoude-Park near Amsterdam on 16 and 17 May, with a stacked lineup that features Ellen Allien, Joris Voorn, Nina Kraviz, Ben UFO x Four Tet, Chris Liebing & Speedy J as Collabs 3000, Ignez x Rødhåd, DJ Boring and UFO95, to name but a few.
A few days ago, 909originals put together a comprehensive, 100-track playlist of the artists playing at this year’s festival – a whopping nine-and-a-half hours of music – to get you in the mood. Check that out here.
With a week to go, it’s time to take a closer look at the timetable, which can be found below.
Absolute must-sees for the 909originals crew include ROD x Sterac (Saturday, 3.45pm), Joris Voorn (Saturday, 5.30pm), Len Faki x Quest (Saturday, 6.15pm), Alarico x Ben Klock (Saturday, 7pm), Planetary Assault Systems (Saturday 8.15pm), ANNĒ x Ben Sims (Sunday, 4.15pm), Paranoid London (Sunday, 4.30pm), Ben UFO x Four Tet (Sunday, 7.30pm) and Freddy K x MARRØN (Sunday, 9pm).
Inevitably there are plenty of schedule clashes, which may require some arena-hopping – the close of Saturday night could prove to be a tricky one to navigate (Blasha & Allatt have been consistently among the highlights of previous editions of Upclose, so they may just sneak it).
