Laurent Garnier‘s COD3 QR has released a new four-track, vinyl-only EP, featuring both established and emerging artists.
The release, titled [QR]V.093.STTP!.26, features a Kenny Dope remix of Alex Finkin & Rocco Rodamaal’s In Da Hood, as well as new tracks from K’ Alexi Shelby, Carlos Nilmmns and Benny Rodrigues aka ROD under his recently launched moniker, The Lost Souldancer.
Finkin and Rodamaal’s partnership developed through connections in the Paris club scene, particularly at Djoon, where Finkin held a residency for several years. The pair have since collaborated on several tracks together including In Da Hood, which was originally released in 2023.
Elsewhere, Carlos Nilmmns, also known as Ross McMillan, is a Glasgow-based artist who draws on house, techno, and jazz influences, and is a previous collaborator with COD3 QR.
On the flip side, K’ Alexi Shelby is an artist that needs little in the way of introduction, having contributed to both house and techno as a producer and collaborator.
The final track, Life and Death, is produced by The Lost Souldancer, a moniker used by Benny Rodrigues, and a project explores themes related to absence and connection.
