Ibiza’s Café Mambo celebrates its 30th anniversary this year

Iconic Ibiza sunset venue Café Mambo has announced that Felix da Housecat and Ferreck Dawn are set to play at its 2024 opening event on 19 April, kicking off its 30th anniversary year.

Other artists to appear on the night, which kicks off at 6pm, include longstanding Mambo residents Jason Bye, Andy Baxter and Ryan McDermott. More information can be found here.

From its humble beginnings as a dilapidated finca on San Antonio’s coast, Café Mambo underwent a transformation when owner Javier Anadon recognised its potential.

In 1994, it emerged as a brand-new bar boasting sunset views, swiftly earning recognition as Bar of the Year by GQ. Today, it is an integral part of Ibiza’s lore, having welcomed renowned artists like Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Sasha, John Digweed, Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Swedish House Mafia, Boy George, and many others over the years.

As well as hosting sunset events, Café Mambo also hosts pre-parties for a number of Ibiza superclubs during the week, including Pacha, Hï! and Amnesia.

Last season’s events at Café Mambo featured pre-parties with FISHER, the Martinez Brothers, and Claptone’s The Masquerade, while Capital Dance also took over the venue, welcoming guests like Fatboy Slim, Becky Hill, LF System, Mistajam, and Hannah Laing.
