Luke Una, Skatebård and more set for Love Is A Stranger festival


From the team behind Another Love Story, the Love Is A Stranger mini festival is set to take place in Ballymote, Sligo, on Saturday 18 May, with Luke Una, Skatebård, Rachael Lavelle and more set to feature.

Located in the 18th century grounds of Juniper Barn in the Sligo countryside, other artists set to appear on the lineup include Robert John Ardiff, Brídín, Rob De Boer, Ellie O’Neill and Graham Sweeney.

From an electronic music perspective, revellers can also enjoy Donal Dineen’s Backstory, Galway’s Lolz, and a host of Sligo’s finest DJs and crews, including Ricky Chong, Toast, Turn It On!, Making Waves and Kevin Noone – as well as the infamous ALS Shift Shack Soundsystem.

Love Is A Stranger will run as an intimate one-day and night affair, offering a limited number of overnight camping/campervan attendee tickets and day attendee tickets.

Day attendees can secure tickets for €57.50, while Overnight attendees have access for €82.50. Family Tickets for two adults and two kids under 16 are available for €110.00, and a campervan pass can be obtained for €25.00.

The event will run from 2pm to 2am on 18 May, with return buses running from Dublin and Sligo town, as well as shuttle buses from Ballymote train station.

Another Love Story, the festival behind Love Is A Stranger, returns to Killyon Manor, Co. Meath from August 23 to 25.
