Adriatique unveil new record label, X Recordings
Swiss electronic duo Adriatique have announced the unveiling of a new label, X Recordings, with the launch of a new single, The Future Is Unknown, featuring Delhia de France.
Commenting on the new imprint, Adriatique, which comprises Adrian Shala and Adrian Schweizer, said, “X is a multifaceted and versatile symbol, also seen as an intersection where paths cross. We feel X is an illustration of reflection and duality; both play major roles in our careers. As a platform, X welcomes influences and inspiration from all the people and artists involved.
“X serves as a catalyst for contemporary music and art, celebrating the luminaries of the past while embracing technological advancements and futuristic visions.”
The pair have also announced a series of shows, under the title ‘Adriatique present X’, in locations such as Dubai, Zürich and Tulum, which promise ‘an immersive journey through futuristic, avant-garde visuals and otherworldly sounds’. They will also play a New Year’s Eve show at Labyrinto Festival, Guanacaste, Costa Rica.
Having released on labels such as Afterlife, Rose Avenue, and Diynamic, electronica producers Adriatique introduced a new live show in Zürich in December 2022, and have since brought the concert experience to venues such as New York’s Brooklyn Mirage, London’s Labyrinth, Ibiza’s Pacha, and Amsterdam’s Gashouder.
