Serbia’s EXIT festival launches new record label

Serbia’s EXIT festival has announced the launch of a new record label, EXIT Soundscape, with a new single from Space Motion and Jes, Universe.

The launch of the new label follows on from the rollout of the festival’s EXIT Echosystem platform, which seeks to provide support and opportunities to up and coming artists from the Balkan region.

Space Motion, who has released the first single on the label, hails from Novi Sad in Serbia – the city on the Danube that hosts EXIT festival every year.

“I’m thrilled that my latest release is also the inaugural one for EXIT’s label, EXIT Soundscape,” he commented.

“The fact that both the festival and I come from Novi Sad adds a special touch to this collaboration – something that seemed almost destined. The overwhelming response from fans and peers in the music industry assures me that this release will leave a long lasting impact.”

Space Motion teams up with British trance artist Jes – who has previously worked with the likes of Tiesto, Paul van Dyk and Gabriel & Dresden – on the new single.

The release (which can be downloaded/streamed here) is accompanied by a music video, which was shot at the Dance Arena at this year’s EXIT festival.

Elsewhere, the EXIT Soundscape record label has also formed a strategic partnership with global digital distributor Paradise Worldwide.
