Catz ‘n Dogz mark 20th anniversary with series of releases

Polish production duo Catz ‘n Dogz are marking their 20th anniversary with a series of remix EPs, a compilation of their biggest releases to date, and a global tour.

The first EP, Wave/Rave History, with remixes by Matisa and Maruwa, is set to be released on 5 May.

Commenting on the new EP, the duo said, “We really love the energy of Matisa and Maruwa. Their tracks are always in our sets. These two originals are very important to us, so we thought what better time to rework them than this milestone? Both remixes are working really well in our sets right now.”

The 20-track 20 Years compilation will be digitally released on 12 May and will feature the duo’s most notable releases, remixes, and collaborations, including artists like Bicep, Solomun, RÜFÜS, Marlena Shaw, Claude Vonstroke, Blue Hawaii, and Gorgon City.

Future remix EPs will be released on 19 May, featuring Andres Campo, and 23 June, featuring Krystal Klear.

“These new releases and the 20 Years tour are to celebrate every party, every record we’ve put out into the world, every label we’ve released on, every venue, every inspiring talent we’ve worked, played and toured with,” they added. “And, most importantly, every raver who’s ever got down at a Catz ’n Dogz rave, and the fans who’ve supported us along the way.”

Over the past two decades, Catz ‘n Dogz have worked with artists such as Gerd Janson and Solomun, as well as remixing tracks from Roisin Murphy, Disclosure, LF System, and RÜFÜS. The duo also boasts four studio albums and two record labels, as well as founding their own festival and events.
