Pig&Dan to mark two decades of production on forthcoming album

It seems like only yesterday that the 909originals team was getting down to one of Pig&Dan‘s breakthrough techno tracks, ‘Oh Yeah’, on the floor at Cocoon Ibiza, but this year actually marks two decades since the duo first established themselves on the electronic scene.

Next month, the duo are set to release a 20-track twentieth anniversary album project, 20 Years: Pig&Dan, on their Elevate label, which will feature both new tracks and a selection of new 2022 versions of some of their biggest cuts.

“It’s almost hard to take in that we are already celebrating a 20 year milestone of producing and performing together,” they commented. “To mark this epic pillar in our musical career, we’ve produced a 20-track techno long player where we’ve devoted ourselves to pushing our envelope and blurring the lines of genre. The project features an array of fresh unreleased productions that hold a sound we hope represents our progression over the last two decades.

“We’ve also included a cheeky selection of new, updated 2022 versions of some of our more celebrated productions from over the last 20 years of musical madness. For us, this is more of a statement than an album, hence the fact there’s a track that represents every year on this journey.”

Ahead of the album’s release, Pig&Dan have released the first four tracks on the album on an EP, 20 Years: Pig&Dan – Sampler 1, which features four tracks, Hope, Get Closer To Me, Basement and When The Lyon Awakens, showcasing their production dexterity.
