Solomun unveils debut release on new NINL label

Solomun has just dropped Home, an atmospheric new single from his first album in eleven years, which is due to land in early 2021.
The track is the Bosnian-German artist’s first release since Rotweinfleck, which was released back in February, while he has also recently completed remixes for Bob Moses and Perry Farrell.
Home is the first of four singles which is set to be released ahead of the widely-anticipated new album, and is also the first release on Solomun’s new label, NINL.
“Home was the starting point for the idea of an album in the first place,” he explained. “I had plenty of opportunities to play it and for me it has withstood the test of time. It was evident that this had to be the first single for the album.”
The release is accompanied by a striking music video, which features artists performing passionate dance routines in some of the world’s most iconic venues including London’s Printworks, La Seine Musicale in Paris and Robert Johnson in Offenbach – a fitting metaphor for the lockdown that has burdened cultural centres for most of 2020.
